Selected Portraits
"green bean dance's ensemble of six slip and shift through each other's space in a sepia-toned collage. Their actions and interactions suggests themes of power, protection and isolation. But the beauty of Selected Portraits is not so much in the specifics of individual stories as in the overlaying of images, a confluence of precious and painful moments. The fragility of memory is enacted in this wander through semi-eroded recollections. A tender and beautiful reminder of the value of remembrance."
