Sprung! 2007

Sprung! is a non-auditioned platform showcasing the work of Queens' College Contemporary Dance Society members alongside the work of professional choreographers.

Sprung! 2007 was coordinated by Queens' College Dancer in Residence, Adèle Thompson. Adèle - a professional dancer and choreographer working in television, theatre and film and former member of world famous company STOMP - celebrated her first year as Dancer in Residence and the tenth anniversary of dance at Queens' with this year's performance.

As part of Sprung! 2007, Katie Green worked with two Queens' Dance Society members, Hilary Goodall and Cecily Morrison, to create the duet Heels over head. Working with Yann Tiersen's Le quartier, we took a playful look at ways of falling, and developed two mischievous characters intent on turning each other over.

Sprung! 2007 took place on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th March 2007 in the Fitzpatrick Hall, Queens' College.
